How many quotes can I get?
As many as you like. It’s your move, and your stuff, and you have to be comfortable with your movers.
What about insurance?
We are fully insured, but if you have goods that are of special concern to you, please contact your homeowner’s insurance company and find out how your policy covers your property while it is being moved.
What is a binding estimate?
A guaranteed estimate, a flat fee. Your move will cost exactly what we quote.
How do I check if the company is legitimate?
Call the State Department of Transportation.
Should I pack myself?
Most people do. We offer packing services, which can be quoted on-site.
What can’t be packed?
We’ll provide you with a more detailed list as your move nears, but in general you cannot pack toxic materials (propane, oil paint) or jewelry and you probably don’t want to pack plants if you are moving a long distance.
How do I pay? (and other payment questions)
Cash, certified check or money order.
Do I have to feed the movers?
If your move is large and will take a full day, the movers certainly appreciate food and drink. But it’s never required.
What if I have to move my vehicles?
We move vehicles but this requires a special quote depending on the car.
Do you need to tip movers?
It’s not required but is always appreciated, especially when you are pleased with our work.
What type of moves do you handle?
Corporate, residential, short, long hauls. We handle just about any type of move within reason. One piece, local only!!! Long distance/full household moves only!!! Full household moves, corporate relocation, local and long distance, and clean-outs also available.
Where do you travel?
We go everywhere. However, a long distance move requires a full household.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, on all moving and rubbish removal. An on-site inspection is required before we can give an estimate on large moving and rubbish removal jobs
Do you provide packing materials?
Packing supplies are available. In some cases the material is free, but that depends on the size of the job. Drop-offs and pick-ups of materials are available at customer's request.
Do you have testimonials/references?
We can furnish references upon request.
